Introduction:
When I received this product, I was really excited to review it, since I had never personally had a surround sound system before. I am no stranger to them; I have a brother who always loves showing off his homemade surround sound system, explaining every loving aspect and well cared for detail. He taught me a bunch . . . I just never have had one of my own.

The Edifier M1550 5.1 surround sound speaker set is a nice little beauty with good specs. Although it comes with quite a low power rating, 3W for the satellites, 4W for the center channel, and 10W for the subwoofer, I’ve heard that Edifier doesn’t cheat on its power ratings; they rate their speakers realistically, unlike some other companies.
